11 Korean Actors And Idols Who Will Be Enlisting In The Military Soon

Whether they are a student, CEO, actor, or K-pop idol, South Korean men are required to enlist in the military by the age of 28. This means putting everything on hold for 18 months while they render service to their country in a variety of service capacities. However, thanks to the newly adopted“BTS law,” K-Pop idols who have received government medals for their domestic and global cultural contributions may apply for deferment, meaning they can put off enlisting for another two years.

Regardless of if they enlist tomorrow or next year, the loss of your favorite actor or idol is immensely felt. We go from getting daily updates about their lives and activities to virtually nothing until their return.

Check out this list of K-actors and K-Idols who will most likely be enlisting for mandatory military service at some point in the next year.
