There are many well known best friend circles amongst the Korean entertainment industry. Some of them have been childhood friends and others through collaborations or through other friends. There are also best friend couples who have been so close that fans wish that they could actually date in real life. 1.Yoo Ah In & Song Hye Kyo
Yoo Ah In and Song Hye Kyo’s friendship is quite well known. They have known each other for a very long time and also belong to the same agency. Both of them are known to occasionally meet up for drinks and chats. Though they have never worked together, they have always been supportive of each other’s projects by sending coffee trucks and promoting their movies or dramas.
2. Gong Yoo & Jung Yu Mi
Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi met on the set of “Silenced” in 2011 and have already collaborated three times to date. They are from the same agency and are both known to be close friends who can talk about work comfortably with each other. This couple have been so close that in 2018 they were rumoured to be getting married. Unfortunately, this was been denied by both parties.

5. Lee Hyun Woo & IU
Lee Hyun Woo and IU first met each other through T-ara Jiyeon and then became close after Hyun Woo appeared in IU’s MV and they both emceed for Inkigayo. Dating rumours about them surfaced when photos of them watching a late night movie was taken but they only state to be best friends. They describe their relationship as friends of the same age that occasionally meet up for meals and movies.
