2nd Generation K-Pop Groups We’d love To Comeback

Long before the Hallyu wave swept the globe, bringing groups like BTS, EXO, and NCT with it, K-pop was in the midst of establishing that quintessential boy band style fans know and love today. Here are three 2nd generation K-pop groups that are still listed as active in the industry that we’d love to have a comeback. 

BIGBANG

BIGBANG has been on hiatus since 2015, but fans can rest assured as the remaining four members have all recently renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment. 

Debut Year: 2006

Current Members: G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang and Daesung

TEEN TOP

TEEN TOP’s last activity as a group was their online concert, “Teen Top 10 Live” to celebrate their 10th anniversary, as the members started reporting for military service. As of now Chungji, Ricky, and C.A.P. have all enlisted.

Original Members: Niel, Ricky, L. Joe, C.A.P., Chunji, and Changjo

Current Members: C.A.P, Chunji, Niel, Ricky, and Changjo

INFINITE

INFINITE last group promotion was their third studio album “Top Seed” in January 2018. Since then the members have had solo schedules, enlisted in the military, and left Woolim Entertainment for other agencies (currently, Sungjong is the only member is renew his contract).

Original Members: Sungkyu, Hoya, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Sungyeol, Sungjong and L
