Crash Landing on You actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin went from reel to real-life couple in 2020 and gave us relationship goals along the way. The mega-stars tied the knot, in what is being dubbed by BinJin stans (which includes us, obvs) as the ‘wedding of the century’, on March 31.
From a glimpse of the wedding vows to the star-studded guest list to the popular actor who caught the wedding bouquet, take a look at what went down at the intimate ceremony.
The beautiful outdoor ceremony took place at the Sheraton Grand Walker Hill Hotel in Seoul, in the presence of select family and friends. Here’s Hyun Bin making an entrance.
Son Ye-jin, looking radiant as ever in a white lace gown and veil, walked down the aisle with her father.
Addressing Hyun Bin, Ye-jin’s father, said, “Today is the day I watch my little girl marry the love of her life. Today, I will finally stop worrying about who will look after her when I no longer can. She found you. Welcome to the family, son.”
Ye-jin joined Hyun at the majestic altar, which was decorated with colourful flowers. Here’s a snippet of what the couple said:
Ye-jin: Honey, hello! It’s finally our wedding day. I still cannot believe it.
Hyun: I think thankfully of the moments of us getting to know and understanding each other, enjoying each moment and laughing through it together.
Rings were exchanged, Crash Landing on You’s OST was played, the couple kissed, Ye-jin did a little jig, and if this isn’t a scene straight from a K-drama rom-com, we don’t know what is!

The wedding was attended by Hyun Bin’s co-stars Yoon-a and Ha Ji-won, Ye-jin’s co-stars Jung Hae-in, Jeon Mi-do, and Kim Ji-hyun, the couple’s co-actor from The Negotiation Jang Young-nam, and many other A-list names such as Song Joong-ki, Gong Yoo and Wi Ha-joon. Singers Gummy, Paul Kim and Kim Bum Soo performed at the wedding while Hyun’s best friend actor Jang Dong-gun gave a congratulatory speech.
Ye-jin’s newest co-stars, Jeon Mi-do and Kim Ji-hyun (from the drama Thirty Nine), visited Ye-jin at the bride’s waiting room and on seeing their friend in the wedding gown, couldn’t hold back their tears. “Ye-jin burst into laughter, saying, “Why are you crying?,” Mi-do recounted.
